SUMMARY:Practical Methods Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This intensive workshop provides the scientific information and
  expertise you need to integrate in vitro methods into your assessments or
  decision-making. Participants hear highly informative lectures given by e
 xperts actively conducting in vitro toxicology\, explore data analysis cas
 e studies\, and gain laboratory experience and instruction in the practica
 l application of new and novel assay techniques. Hands-on and demonstratio
 n exercises in the laboratory supplement lecture instruction.\n\nThe focus
  of most of the lectures are OECD-validated in vitro assays for regulatory
  application\, including for skin and eye irritation and skin sensitizatio
 n. Emerging topics including techniques for in vitro inhalation and next-g
 eneration genotoxicity and sensitization assays are also described. The co
 urse agenda can be modified according to the participants’ needs\, or a 
 custom training can be designed.\n\nWe hold 4-day workshops about three ti
 mes per year\, from about 8:00-4:30 each day. Participation fee includes l
 unches and all materials. Custom rates for regulators and others are avail
