Whether you are just beginning to use in vitro tests or you need to integrate non-animal data into your risk assessments, this intensive workshop provides the scientific information and expertise you need. Participants hear highly informative lectures given by experts actively conducting in vitro toxicology, explore data analysis case studies, and gain laboratory experience and instruction in the practical application of new and novel assay techniques. Hands-on and demonstration exercises in the laboratory supplement lecture instruction.
In addition, participants will:
- Explore test methods in-depth with a daily focus on a specific endpoint.
- Participate in discussions and interactive sessions.
- Gain a better understanding of assay data through case studies.
The focus of most of the lectures are OECD-validated in vitro assays for regulatory application, including for skin and eye irritation, and skin sensitization. Emerging topics including techniques for in vitro inhalation and next-generation genotoxicity and sensitization assays are also described. The course agenda can be modified according to the participants’ needs, or a custom training can be designed.
We hold 4-day workshops about three times per year. Participation fee includes lunches and all materials. Custom rates for regulators and others are available. Currently we have openings for May 18-21 and September 21-24, 2026. To indicate your interest in attending or to explore custom solutions, please fill out this form or contact us.
